Full Description

35199 'The Dovecote House' is a timber-framed aisled hall in Westborough. It is seventeenth century and has attached stable, barn and dovecote. {1} For the full description and the legal address of this listed building please refer to the appropriate List of Buildings of Special Architectural or Historic Interest. {2} The stable and barn to the rear (south) with a dovecote above the stable are all attached as a single building. {3} Dovecote House (Blue Greyhound), Westborough and Dry Doddington. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. L-plan. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a hamlet. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
