Full Description

Archaeological recording was conducted in January 1998, prior to the partial removal of a section of hedgerow on land to the south of Bracebridge Heath. The hedgerow likely dates to the Parliamentary Enclosure of this area in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. It lies along an historic boundary between Bracebridge Heath and Waddington parishes, however, and the boundary has probably existed since at least the late Saxon period. {1}
