A PERFORATED LIMESTONE NET SINKER OF MEDIEVAL DATE FOUND NEAR THE RIVER WITHAM ON NOCTON FEN IN 1978. THIS MAY INDICATE THE PRESENCE NEARBY OF A FISHERY. {1}{2}
