An area of woodland (4 hectares of which classified as semi-natural and the remaining 46 hectares classified as plantation) included in the Inventory of Ancient Woodland. The woodland may contain standing earthworks and buried remains related to its historic management and utilisation, such as wood banks, former saw pits, coppice stools, charcoal hearths, etc. {1}{2}
