A PORTION OF AN ANGLO-SAXON CROSS SHAFT, DECORATED WITH INTERLACE, IS BUILT INTO THE VESTRY OF ST.HELEN'S CHURCH; OF A LATE PERIOD. REPORTED AS FOUND UNDER THE NORTH WALL OF THE CHANCEL. {1}{2}{3}{4}
