Full Description
Stone footbridge over the Atterby Beck at Bishop Norton. The stone slab that forms the walkway is narrow and for pedestrian use only. There is no indication of date although local tradition describes it as 'ancient'. The bridge was in a poor state of repair in April 1983, having partially given way. Repairs to the bridge are thought to have been conducted shortly afterwards, with the formerly single slab walkway now in two pieces. {1}
