PRN 54274
Ditches recorded as cropmarks were located during an evaluation on land north of Morton Road. Finds of a single sherd of pottery and iron smithing slag date to the mid to late sixteenth and mid to late eighteenth centuries. A pit in another trench contained pottery dating to the late seventeenth to mid to late eighteenth centuries and more iron smithing slag. An infilled pond was also identified, the fill of which contained early to mid-eighteenth century finds. {1}{2}
