Description
Trial trenching was carried out on circa 2ha of land in order to establish the archaeological potential of the site. Four trenches were excavated; Trench 1 measured 4.3m by 1.62m, Trench 2 measured 15.15m by 1.6m, Trench 3 measured 35.3m by 1.5m, and Trench 4 measured 18.8m by 1.6m.{1}
