Full Description

Demolition deposits with medieval/early post-medieval pottery was recorded during a watching brief, to the east of the current building at Gables Manor. There was a pit/gully of late 16th to mid 17th century. A brick structure was also recorded, which was not associated with the existing building. It may have been a cellar, or a water tank feeding a nearby well. {1}{2}
