Full Description

Earthwork remains of a former mill race at Normanby Mill. Visible as a linear earthwork, running for approximately 260m with a bank lining its southern side in parts. A tail race is visible for 30m from the wheel pit adjacent to the former mill building (see MLI53114). Of likely post-medieval date, and identified on aerial photographs examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}{2}
