Full Description
Claxby and Usselby Railway Station was opened with the line in 1848. It was closed prior to May 1965, and is now largely demolished. The platforms were removed, as were the sidings in the yard. The station was extended at some time in the same style as the original. The station building also acted as the station master's house (see PRN 56691). A signal box was located to the south of the level crossing (see PRN 56692). {1}
