Full Description

Two redeposited sherds of Roman pottery were found in the fill of a medieval ditch in October 1996, during archaeological monitoring of residential development on land adjacent to High Street, Scampton. The sherds were quite abraded, but were thought to have been made from a shell tempered fabric. {1}{2}
