THE REMAINS OF A MEDIEVAL RIDGE AND FURROW FIELD SYSTEM. {1}{2}
Much of the ridge and furrow surrounding Hemswell village is no longer extant, presumably due to recent ploughing activity. A survey of the remaining earthworks was undertaken. {4}
