PRN 53496
MECHANICAL EXCAVATION OF GRAVEL ON A SMALL SCALE AT WINGHALE PRIORY REVEALED THREE DITCH SECTIONS IN THE PIT FACE. SHORT STRETCHES OF THE THREE DITCHES WERE EXCAVATED. FINDS INCLUDE IRON AGE SHERDS (INCLUDING DECORATED FRAGMENTS) AND ROMANO-BRITISH FINDS. {1}
