Full Description

Romano-British grey ware pottery, found by D. Boyce. {1}{2}{3} A large complex of buried ditches were recorded in this location in February 2014, during a magnetometry survey conducted to inform the proposed creation of a new solar farm. The ditches appeared to encompass a number of small enclosures, thought to represent areas of settlement and likely dating to the Romano-British period. Suggestions of at least two overlapping phases of development were identified within the settlement. A small number of potential pit-like features were also recorded. {4}
