A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform the proposed creation of a new solar farm on land at the former RAF Faldingworth. The survey recorded a large complex of buried ditches in the south-western part of the site, thought to represent the remains of an area of Romano-British settlement. Other magnetic anomalies were also recorded, including the remains of ploughed out ridge and furrow, two possible pits or unknown date, and the remains of services associated with the former airfield. {1}
