PRN 53208
22 SHERDS OF LATE IRON AGE POTTERY FOUND DURING FIELDWALKING BY BRITISH GAS. THERE WAS ALSO A BRONZE CLASP FROM A LATE IRON AGE TANKARD. IT SEEMS LIKELY THAT THERE WAS AN IRON AGE FARM OR SETTLEMENT HERE, WHICH WAS OCCUPIED INTO THE ROMAN PERIOD (SEE 50754). TWO CURVILINEAR FEATURES WERE MASKED BY THE ROMAN SITE. {1}
