Full Description
Kilns, presumably brick kilns, are marked in this area on Bryant's map of Lincolnshire of 1828. {1}
The kilns no doubt used clay extracted from the adjacent extraction pits that are recorded along with the brickworks on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. {2}
