THE AUGUSTINIAN PRIORY OF TORKSEY APPEARS TO HAVE HAD A GRANGE AT HARDWICK. IT IS AS YET UNLOCATED, ALTHOUGH THE PATTERN OF SETTLEMENT AT HARDWICK COULD REFLECT THE PRESENCE OF A MONASTIC DESMESNE FARM. {1}
