Full Description
Ridge and furrow field system cropmarks. {1}{2}
This feature was identified during analysis of aerial photographs in 2010, though it was interpreted rather as a section of multi-ditch boundary, of probable later prehistoric date. It was visible as a series of parallel linear cropmarks, running in a roughly south-west to north-east direction, to the east of Newton on Trent. {3}
