ALL SAINTS HAD ST MARY'S AMALGAMATED WITH IT IN THE MID C13 THEY APPEAR JOINTLY LISTED IN 1254, WHILE IN 1291 AND 1428 ST MARY'S IS NOT REFERRED TO. THE FORMER SITE OF ALL SAINTS HAS POSSIBLY BEEN LOCATED BY THE DISCOVERY OF PART OF A CHURCHYARD CEMETERY IN USE IN C13 SOUTH OF THE VILLAGE. ALL SAINTS CHURCH SURVIVED IN USE THROUGHOUT THE C15: IT IS DESCRIBED AS BEING IN DECAY IN 1535 AND IS ABSENT FROM DIOCESIAN RETURNS AT THE END OF THE CENTURY. THE FOSSE NUNNERY LAY IN ITS PARISH. {1}
