Full Description

St Mary's Church was rebuilt from a ruinous condition in 1879-80. A Norman tower arch is now used as the west doorway, although the transitional north doorway and fourteenth century arches remain. {1} The church was in normal use in 1963. {2} A parish church which has 12th century features, was altered in the 13th century and mostly rebuilt in 1879-86 by James Fowler.
