SHERDS OF ROMANO-BRITISH POTTERY INCLUDING GREYWARE, TWO IRON KNIVES AND BRONZE SCRAPS FOUND BY D.N.RILEY AND J.H.WALSHAW FROM c1949 TO 1951. FINDS IN SCUNTHORPE MUSEUM. {1}{2}{3}{4}~ IN 1964 HARPER REPORTED THAT NO SURFACE FINDS WERE MADE IN THE INDICATED AREA OF PLOUGHLAND DURING FIELDWALKING. {1}~ THE METALWORK COULD POSSIBLY BELONG TO THE ANGLO-SAXON PHASE OF THIS SITE, SEE PRN 51277., HTM 15.2M
