Full Description
EARLY ANGLO-SAXON POTTERY FOUND BY D.N.RILEY AND J.H.WALSHAW FROM c1949 TO 1951. FINDS IN SCUNTHORPE MUSEUM. IN 1964 HARPER REPORTED THAT NO SURFACE FINDS WERE MADE IN THE INDICATED AREA OF PLOUGHLAND DURING FIELDWALKING. {1}{2}{3}{4}~ PAUL EVERSON SUGGESTS THAT THIS IS A SETTLEMENT SITE. {4}~, HTM 15.2M
