THERE WAS A MEDIEVAL CHANTRY CHAPEL DEDICATED TO ST. LAURENCE AT THE SETTLEMENT OF EAST FERRY (ALSO CALLED KINNARD'S FERRY). IT WAS DECAYED IN THE C16 BUT SURVIVED TO THE LATE C18. {1}{2}~, HTM 4M
