The church was rebuilt in the 19th century, although it retains an Early English chancel arch. In 1964 it was in normal use. {1} The only medieval features of St Andrew's Church are the chancel arch and the remains of a Perpendicular two-light south window in the chancel. The rest is of 1794. The west tower has a Victorianised doorway, big circular bell-openings and a pyramid roof with a knob. There are arched windows in the nave and the chancel. The interior is white with a flat ceiling. The communion rail is later 17th century in date. There is a six foot long vamping horn on the west wall. A monument to Nicholas Sutton (died 1602) is only fragmentarily preserved; the back wall with strapwork and a rhymed inscription. {2} A late 13th century parish church which was altered in the 15th century, 1794 and in the late 19th century.
