THE SOUTH DOORWAY OF ST LUKE'S CHURCH IS LATE SAXON OR EARLY NORMAN, WIDENED IN 1854. IT IS PLAIN WITH CHAMFERED IMPOSTS AND A TYMPANUM. THE FONT ALSO INCORPORATES CABLE-MOULDING CONTEMPORARY WITH THE SOUTH DOOR. {1}~
