Full Description
In the west wall of the tower of St Peter's church, Bishop Norton, is a small Norman tympanum with a defaced scene with a recumbent figure and the signum triciput. On the arch are roundels. The date seems to be about 1150. The scene is surrounded by five beaded roundels with rosettes. {1}{2}
