Full Description
POSSIBLE PLOUGHED-DOWN BARROW IN FIELD KNOWN AS 'OTBY WALK'. {1}
THE PROFILE OF A SPREAD MOUND WAS SEEN IN A FIELD OF CORN STUBBLE IN 1963. THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT WAS 0.5M BUT THE PERIMETER WAS UNSURVEYABLE. TOPOGRAPHICAL SITING AND GENERAL APPEARANCE STRONGLY SUGGEST A PLOUGHED-DOWN ROUND BARROW. {2}
ALSO INTERPRETED AS A POSSIBLE CROPMARK BRONZE AGE BARROW. {3}
