A PARK PALE, CONSISTING OF A BANK 9-10M WIDE AND 1M HIGH WITH AN EXTERNAL DITCH OF SIMILAR DIMENSIONS, CAN BE SEEN AS AN EARTHWORK RUNNING EAST AND SOUTH FROM KETTLETHORPE HALL FROM SK850756 AS FAR AS SK85077540. IT CURVES ROUND ICEHOUSE PLANTATION AND MARKS THE BOUNDARY OF C18 PARKLAND LYING ONLY SOUTH OF THE HALL AND EXTENDING TO LESS THAN 100 ACRES (40HA) AS MAPPED IN THE EARLY C19. IT IS TYPICALLY FRINGED WITH SINUOUS-EDGED TREE PLANTATIONS AND DOTTED WITH TREE RINGS. {1}~, AREA 40HA, HTM 10M
