Full Description

After the Dissoultion, the land at Reasby Grange passed via Charles Brandon and his heirs to the Sanderson family, and they built a substantial residence, now called Reasby Hall. The moat-like features may be the vestiges of post-medieval formal gardens, though perhaps adapting earlier features. The arms of the Sanderson family and the date 1708 are over the porch. It is two storey, with three bay sides with a 16th century doorway. {1}{2}{3} Reasby Hall is a Grade II listed small country house, now farmhouse. {4} Reasby Hall, Stainton By Langworth. 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of E plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Located within a Church and/or Manor farm group. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {5}
