Full Description

PRN 50308 The site of a post-medieval house in Snarford village. Its plan was recognisable in the earthworks and seemed to overlie ridge and furrow. Bulldozing of the area in the 1950s produced much building material, including brick, stone and tile and clay pipes and post-medieval pottery. Ponds or moatlike features associated with this may have been formal garden features, even if adapting earlier, Medieval curia encompassing the church.{1}{2}{3}{4}{5}{6}{7}{8}
