THE GARDEN REMAINS AT CLIXBY OF A FORMERLY L-SHAPED WATER-FILLES FEATURE THAT FORMS TWO SIDES OF A RECTANGULAR TERRACE ON THE SOUTH SIDE AND ON THE AXIS OF CLIXBY MANOR. AT THE BEGINNING OF C18 CLIXBY WAS THE SEAT OF SIR JOHN FITZWILLIAM, A FOCUS OF ROMAN CATHOLOCISM. {1}
