Full Description

In 1383 Katherine Swynford had licence from Richard II to enclose and make a deer park of 300 acres within her manor of Kettlethorpe. The park was broken up about 1830. In 1904 there were the remains of a bank running from SK 8412 7654 to SK 8437 7434 and named the Sallie Bank. It stood to a height of 3m and on its western side ran a stream.
