Visible disarticulated human remains had been reported to the police and so the Archaeology department visited the site to identify if the remains were human. A series of disarticulated remains including ribs, metacarpels, vertebrae, skull fragments, humeri and sternum were recorded. At least two individuals were noted as two right scapula were present within the assemblage. The mastoid process of a female was also identified. The bones had possibly been disturbed and redeposited with the spoil heap during the excavation of the disabled toilet. The police were informed of the findings and were asked to request that the remains were reburied within the churchyard. {5}
