Full Description
During geophysical survey of land adjacent to Lincoln Road, broad linear and rectilinear anomalies were identified which may represent former drainage ditches and their associated upcast, although an element of ridge and furrow is equally possible. {1}
A north-east to south-west, U-shaped ditch was excavated during trial trenching. The ditch correlated with a magnetic anomaly found during geophysical survey. Unfortunately, no dating evidence was recovered from the ditch fills. {2}{3}
