Full Description
The base and shaft of a cross, possibly 14th century in date, are in the village. The shaft is octagonal. The base is square with chamfered edges and faces at the corners. The monument includes the base and the lower part of a medieval limestone cross. It is located to the south east of the south porch. There is a one metre boundary around the archaeological features, considered to be essential for the support and preservation of the monument. The gravestone on the east side of the cross is excluded from the scheduling. For a full description see revised scheduling document 22709. {4}
