Full Description
DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON THE ROUTE OF A PIPELINE A SCATTER OF ROMAN POTTERY WAS NOTED MOSTLY OF THE MID TO LATE FOURTH CENTURY ALTHOUGH WITH SOME SECOND CENTURY SHERDS. THERE WAS ONE PIECE OF SLAG FROM THE BASE OF AN IRON SMITHING HEARTH. IT IS POSSIBLE THERE MAY BE A ROMAN OCCUPATION SITE ADJACENT TO THE NORTH. {1}{2}
