Full Description

A type 22 pillbox of the Second World War Coastal Crust. Formed part of the defences of the Gibraltar Point Coastal Defence Battery (see MLI43285). Built of concrete with wooden shuttering. The pillbox faces south and has an integral porch and external blast wall. {1}{2}{3} A photograph of the pillbox was taken in October 2007, during site visits conducted for the Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. {4}
