POTENTIAL NEOLITHIC CROPMARK LONG BARROW. {1} THIS LONG BARROW IS LOCATED ON THE SLOPE OF AN EAST FACING ESCARPMENT, THE HEAD OF A DRY VALLEY, WITH ITS LONG AXIS RUNNING PARALLEL TO THE CONTOURS. FULL EXTENT NOT SHOWING; THE FEATURE COMPRISES ONE LONG STRAIGHT SIDE, WITH PART OF A PARALLEL RETURN AND A CONVEX TERMINAL. THE FEATURE SHOWS AS SOILMARKS. A SMALL CIRCULAR FEATURE, 8M D, LIES IMMEDIATELY TO THE EAST (entered as Possible Bronze Age round barrow based on NMP interpretation - PRN 46423) . THE PARISH BOUNDARY BETWEEN CLAXBY AND SKENDLEBY RUNS PAST THE SITE, ALONG THE EDGE OF THE ESCARPMENT. {2}, HTM 65M
