Full Description

Built after 1824 in the style of architect Robert Smirke, Walmsgate Hall was the home of the Yorke family until it was sold in 1950 to the Haggas family who had the house demolished in the 1950s. The Hall was a two-storey, brick structure built in the Grecian Revival style, with a hipped roof and sash windows and a flat-roofed portico on the south west frontage. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
