Full Description

Site of a chapel built adjoining the south-west front of Walmsgate Hall in 1901 by the Dallas Yorke family in memory of their son Haliburton Francis Dallas Yorke (1875-1899). Much of the chapel, including the roof, fittings, and furnishings, was rebuilt as St Hugh's Church, Langworth, in 1961, after the demolition of Walmsgate Hall in the 1950s. {1}{2}{3}{4}
