PRN 42401
St Margaret's Church is all early Perpendicular in date (1180AD to around 1300AD) and was built by Albini de Enderby who died in 1407. Nailed to the church door is an Anglo Saxon shield boss. {1}{2}{3}
Medieval stained glass found in this church variously dates to the 14th century, the early 14th century (predating the building of the church), and about 1390 to 1408 AD. Some of the glass is in situ, and one of the pieces is the Arms of Crowland Abbey, considered rare. {4}
A parish church with architectural features surviving from the 15th century and was restored in about 1956. It was constructed of dressed greenstone with some red brick patching and has a lead and plain tile roofs.
