Full Description

Candlesby House or Hall was built for the Massingberds of Gunby in the 18th century. {1}{2} Country house dating from 1782, and extended in the mid 19th century. Built of red brick laid in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings, and features an asbestos slate roof with stone coped stepped gables, and two tall, partly external gable brick stacks. The hall is of two storeys plus attics, and has a three-bay front with the central bay slightly advanced.
