Full Description
Earthworks of former clay pits and a brickwork kiln were identified on aerial photographs by the National Mapping Programme. {1}
Old brick pit and placename evidence for a brickyard - 'Brickyard Cottage' and 'Brickyard Lane'. {2}
The site was named as the 'Hundleby Brick and Tile Works' on the 1st edition 6 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map. Many of the depicted structures that comprised the works appear to have been demolished, although Brickyard Cottage is still extant. {3}
