Full Description

The 18th century manor house was destroyed by fire in 1841 and rebuilt in 1856 by James Fowler. {1}{2} Dalby Hall is a Grade II listed small country house. It was built of stock brick in the 18th century, then rebuilt in 1856 after destruction by fire by James Fowler of Louth, for J. W. Preston. {3} Hall Yard, Dalby. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been significant loss (greater than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {4}
