Full Description

St Helen's Church has early Perpendicular (1180AD to around 1400AD) bell openings in the west tower and clerestory windows and also retains medieval reredos dating from the late 14th century. The church was mainly rebuilt in 1864 to 1847. A late 10th or early 11th century grave cover was incorporated into the top step of the tower staircase (see PRN 49350). {1}{2} A parish church dating from the 14th century which has 15th century features. The chancel and aisles were rebuilt in 1866 by S. S. Teulon.
