PRN 41361 REPORT OF GREY POTTERY FOUND AT THE BOTTOM OF SALTERN AT NORTHCOATES. MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH SALTWORKING. POTTERY WAS SEEN IN LINCOLN MUSEUM IN 1958 BUT COULD NOT BE FOUND IN 1963. {1}{2} The national mapping programme observed crop-marks thought to be associated with salterns. {3} Earthworks were observed on a site visit made in 2004 to the area as part of the Coastal Grazing Marsh project. {4}
