A 19th century farmstead and placename evidence for a brick pit. {1}
Brick Pits Farm, South Somercotes. 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. The farmhouse is the only surviving historic structure. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {2}
