Full Description
Locksley Hall is of brick and was probably built in the 16th century but has been much restored. It is notable for its collection of stained glass including two 14th century panels from the Bishop of Lincoln's Palace at Buckden and from St Peter Mancroft, Norwich. {1}{2}
Locksley Hall has a diverse collection of stained glass from English and Continental sources, acquired by James Arundel between 1926 and 1936. The glass dates from the 13th to the 17th centuries. {3}
A 16th century house which underwent alterations in 1921 to 1925. It was constructed fo red brick with ashlar dressings, some render and some applied timber framing.
